For the fault of switching charging modes in electric vehicle chargers, maintenance can be carried out from three aspects: fault investigation, hardware repair, and software debugging. The following are the specific maintenance methods:
Check the power supply and wiring
Check whether the power supply is stable and whether there are problems such as tripping, insufficient power supply or aging of the circuit breaker of the leakage protection device.
Confirm whether the charging cable connection is firm, without any looseness or poor contact. There should be no foreign objects or dirt at the interface. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in time.
Operation and setting check
Check whether the switch of the charging connection device was mistakenly pressed, causing the charging to pause. If pressed by mistake, the charging connection device needs to be reconnected and the charging process initiated.
Check the Settings of the charging management software to ensure that the charging mode meets the requirements and has not been accidentally adjusted.
Battery and temperature inspection
Check whether the temperature of the power battery is too high to trigger the safety protection mechanism and cause the charging to stop automatically. If the temperature is too high, wait for the battery to cool down before charging.
Confirm whether the battery is fully charged. If it is, no further charging is required.
Inspection of vehicles and charging piles
Check whether the charging control system inside the vehicle is working properly and can communicate and coordinate accurately with the charger.
Check whether the circuit components, control systems, etc. of the charging pile are in good condition and whether there are any faults that affect normal charging.
Replace the damaged parts
If any damage is found to the charging cable, interface, or internal components of the charger, they should be replaced in a timely manner.
For components such as leakage protection devices and circuit breakers that have aged or experienced performance degradation, they should also be replaced.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the dust and dirt on the charger's cooling system to ensure good cooling effect.
Check and tighten the charging interface, circuits and other connecting components to prevent loosening or poor contact.
Update and Reset
Check and update the software of the charger to the latest version to fix known vulnerabilities and optimize performance.
If the software malfunctions, you can try resetting it or restoring it to factory Settings.
Professional debugging
For complex software issues, it is recommended to contact professional maintenance personnel for debugging and repair.
Maintenance personnel can use professional diagnostic tools to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the charger, identify and solve the root cause of the fault.
